We showed 18 fine machines, a photo display, video display and lots of literature. We handed out dozens of posters for the July 8 rally and membership application forms. Machines were delivered from 1:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday and between 8:00 and 8:30am on Saturday (doors opened for visitors at 9:00am Saturday). Closing ceremonies were 6:00-6:30pm on Sunday. Riders were welcome to participate in their organized ride. The event was a real success! Quite a few members showed up to do a shift, telling visitors about the bikes and CVMG.
At the last minute our space was changed, for the better! We ended up with a large display area right in front of the entrance. We were there for about 10 hours on Friday for setup, from 8:00-8:00 on Saturday and 8:00-6:30 on Sunday. Those of us staffing the desk became hoarse from talking to so many visitors. There were many compliments from visitors and other exhibitors about the quality of our display.
We had about 80 feet front and centre!
Great Bikes!
Great People!
President Frank was tireless!
Other Exhibits were interesting too! The Police, Vintage Racers and Ride for Sight.
.... and the lovely ladies from Hooters Restaurants offered a charity bike wash (for Ride for Sight) and even graced our machines!
